God Is For You

amy • September 16, 2021

God is for you, even when the world seems to be against you. He is near even when you feel abandoned. He sees your hurt and hears your heart, even when words escape you. His faithfulness isn't circumstantial and His love is irrevocable. He is good. Always. You are not forsaken.

- hertrueworth -

I felt so strongly tonight that someone needed this reminder. Read the sentences above again slowly out loud and let them soak into your very core.  You may feel lost right now, but know that God has never lost sight of you. He is with you - always. Regardless of what darkness or valley may currently surround you. He will not abandon you. You are loved beyond anything you could comprehend by a Father who sent His only Son to this earth to die for YOU... Because you were worth it. You are worth it and you are never alone.

"We are hard pressed on every side, but not crushed; perplexed, but not in despair; persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed. Therefore we do not lose heart. Though outwardly we are wasting away, yet inwardly we are being renewed day by day."

2 Corinthians 4:8-9

When we face difficulties in our life, we can so often only see what is right in front of us. It's hard to comprehend or imagine a season different from the one we are currently standing in. In those moments, our minds and broken hearts cannot conceive the possibility of beauty or goodness coming from the ashes that are surrounding us. And yet, God promises us in Ecclesiastes 3:11 that "He makes everything beautiful in its time."

God can make beauty from the ashes.  He can invade even the most difficult situations and valleys with His unstoppable hope.  He removes our fears and breathes renewal, restoration, hope and His never-failing compassion into our lives and our stories. God is at work restoring all things. He is able!

Those of you who are reading this and are in your own battle of darkness - keep reminding yourself that you are seen, you are loved and you have not been forgotten.  There is always hope when Jesus is involved. Let Him speak His truth over you tonight.

"There’s more to come: We continue to shout our praise even when we’re hemmed in with troubles, because we know how troubles can develop passionate patience in us, and how that patience in turn forges the tempered steel of virtue, keeping us alert for whatever God will do next. In alert expectancy such as this, we’re never left feeling short changed. Quite the contrary—we can’t round up enough containers to hold everything God generously pours into our lives through the Holy Spirit!"

Romans 5:3-5

Please reach out if you need a friend to pray for you.  You are loved.

Nine years ago today, a line was drawn between before and after. Life changed completely for our family and the hard began in ways I never could have imagined.

Remedy was born from our personal journey to soothe and bring relief to our daughter’s severe eczema. What started as a simple way to care for her skin has grown into something deeply meaningful for our family.

"The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is Your faithfulness." - Lamentations 3:22-23

"How beautiful are the feet of the man that came for me. How beautiful are the scars that tell me just how kind you are... My Jesus."
