This is not where I would have expected to be after almost three years in such a deep valley. Chronic illness is no joke. I never imagined that I would still be fighting with everything in me to get my life back. To even just feel a glimpse of normalcy again would be such a blessing. I have lost so much, but God has been faithful through it all. I know that He is working and His timing is perfect. I am still believing that I will see the goodness of my Lord in the land of the living!
I started these pages and my Grace In This Valley instagram account because I have a heart to show others the grace that God wants to pour out over whatever situation they may be facing. I am just a housebound warrior praising her way to a breakthrough as God continues to flood her with grace upon grace.
My prayer is that God would get the glory in this space and you would see His heart for you and that He wants to give you a hope and a future. I don't know how often I will be able to post or what will fill these pages, but you can always find me sharing encouragement on my Instagram stories.
This is my prayer for my own life today and anyone reading this as I open the pages of this site and place them in my Heavenly Father's faithful hands.
Father, we thank You for all that You are doing in our lives. We thank you that You are a God of restoration. Lord You are a faithful redeemer and we can trust You. Thank you for being a promise keeper. Lord, I pray that everything we have walked through - every loss, every hurt, every painful part of our stories, that You will use what the enemy meant for evil and You will turn it around for our good and Your glory. We trust You with this season. You are working even when we can't see it or feel it. Give us strength today. The joy of You Lord will be our strength. Though weeping endures for a night, we know that joy - Your joy Father, comes in the morning. I pray you would bless anyone reading this today and that they would see Your hand so clearly working in their life. We thank you Lord that those who sow in tears will reap with harvests of joy. We thank you for the harvest of JOY season that is coming. We love you. Amen and AMEN.
"Don't you see, you planned evil against me but God used those same plans for my good, as you see all around you right now - life for many people."
Genesis 50:20
Thanks for joining me! I'm so glad you are here.
