Joy will come. That much is certain. Light will prevail over darkness. In the midst of such deep valleys and struggles, God's timeline can look so different from what we expected, hoped or prayed for. But I know that He is making all things beautiful - In His time. As painful as a season may be, it is only just a season. Seasons are ever changing and this one will pass. Trust that His promises are true and know that even on the hardest of days, joy is still there. Even if it is just a little glimmer.
to the girl who is hurting, wait.
so much goodness is to come. there may be suffering in the night
but joy comes in the morning.
hold on to hope.
know that He is good. His mercy and grace overflows.
it's okay to cry.
Jesus was known to cry with those who suffer.
He cares. He hears you.
He sees your tears and He comforts.
you are not alone.
there is goodness to come.

So very grateful that my God is right there with me regardless of what the day may bring. He is carrying me and I don't have to rely on my own strength. Sorrow may bend me, but I know it won't break me. Friend, if you are struggling, lean into His grace and His love for you today. Know that you are doing an amazing job handling some really hard stuff. Tomorrow is a new day with a fresh outpouring of all you may need to get through it.
God is already standing in every one of our tomorrows. We don't have to be fearful about what this next week or month may hold. God has already gone ahead of us with His provision and grace. He is standing there with His love and hope. He is waiting for us with His wisdom and strength. He will meet you there. Take a deep breath and rest on this promise.
"And after you have suffered a little while, the God of all grace, who has called you to His eternal glory in Christ, will Himself restore, confirm, strengthen, and establish you"
1 Peter 5:10
The Lord can take all the broken pieces and suffering from this valley and turn them into a beautiful masterpiece. It is often our darkest pain that becomes our brightest light when we entrust it to Him. The season you are in has an expiration date. The bible promises us that no matter how dark our days may seem, they will come to an end and instead be replaced with gladness. Joy will come again sweet friend. Keep trusting the one who holds all of our tomorrows.
